Since it's November, many of you have Gratitude and Thankfullness on your mind,  and this is great! I like to make it part of our morning routine.

I taught my son some affirmations, and he says them every morning within the first 5-10 minutes of waking up.

-It's a Beautiful Day

-It's a Beautiful Life

-I am Grateful

-I am Worthy & Deserving

-I am Enough

-I am Healthy

You might think it's funny that our 4 year old says these, but we want him to grow up with an attitude of gratitude, every day. It's important to find the beauty in life, even in the mundane things, and acknowledge it.

I wanted to share a little bit about Geranium. Geranium is the oil of Love and Trust. According to the Emotions & Essential Oils reference guide, "Geranium restores
confidence in the innate goodness of others and in the world. It facilitates trust, especially when an individual has lost trust in others due to difficult life circumstances." You can see how this would be very beneficial in helping to develop an attitude of gratitude, especially about yourself! It's really important, if not critical, for us to learn how to love ourselves, before we share and love others. Geranium is a wonderful way to help support these feelings of self love and gratitude. "When there has been a loss of trust in relationships, Geranium encourages emotional honesty, love and forgiveness. It fosters receptivity to human love and connection."

I could talk about Geranium forever, since it is kind of the jack of all oils when it comes to emotional assistance, but I will leave you with this last little bit. "The individual who has a difficult time accessing their emotions can be supported by Geranium, as it leads --- into the warmth and nurture of the heart."
