MY TOP 3 MEDITATION TIPS

GET COMFORTABLE.

Whether you plan to sit on the floor, on a chair, lay down on your bed, or lay in the bath tub, get your body in to a comfortable position. There is no right or wrong way, just figure out what works best for you! Maybe a walking meditation is your thing! What makes you feel grounded and at ease, is where you want to be.

GET QUIET.

This can be tough, especially with children running around, BUT it is so important! If this means finding a quiet place outdoors in nature, go for it! If it means grabbing your partners XBOX headset to tune out the world, great! Even if you find yourself distracted by the noisiness of life around you, soak it up and breath into it. Finding peace within the noise is a wonderful practice to have.

GET YOUR OILS.

If you are trying to relax, or achieve some other sort of goal with your meditation, grab the oil or oils that you are most drawn to in that moment. Apply them to your feet, wrists and neck, to help you breathe into that sacred space you are trying to create. You can also add a few drops to a diffuser nearby to create a calm atmosphere.
